Veduggio’s City Hall with Colzano

The project is about the recovery of the former primary school of Veduggio and its restoration as the new municipal headquarters. The project involves the construction of a new double-height civic hall surrounded by a semi-transparent wall, the redefinition of the entrance hall, the demolition of the upper floor and the pre-existing service block, the reorganization of the internal distribution structure, the structural and plant adaptation and the energy efficiency of the building. The basement is provided for association spaces and civic activities. 

It is also planned to arrange the outdoor spaces through the construction of a stepped square between the old and new town halls, which connects the levels of the street, the atrium of the new municipal house and the garden path around the basement, from which you will access the civic and associative spaces.
