Il Parco della Pace – esempio di rigenerazione delle città europee
With great satisfaction, we announce that the Peace Park project, after being selected as a candidate for Italy, was awarded among the best three projects at the Green Cities Europe Award 2024, receiving the second prize as the most innovative greening project in Europe.
Now in its fifth edition, the award is organized by ENA-European Association of Nurserymen with the platform “Green Cities for a Sustainable Europe”, which brings together nurserymen’s organizations from Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Hungary. This is the fourth participation for our country, which had previously nominated Parco CityLife of Milan; Parri Park of Cuneo; Parco Te of Mantua.
Together with the Pré Gaudry Gardens in Lyon for France and the greening of the Nowy Targ square for Poland, the Italian project by the PAN Associati studio, created by Euroambiente-Gruppo Zelari Enterprise, stood out among seven other competitors.
The Green Cities Europe Award 2024 took place on January 30, 2025 during an official ceremony held at the IPM international fair in Essen, Germany.
Being among the best three finalist projects of such a prestigious award is a great achievement for the PAN Associati studio and a testament to Italian excellence in the field of green infrastructure. The Peace Park is not just a park: it is an inspiration for all cities that want to invest in a more sustainable, livable and environmentally conscious future.
