The opening of ‘Parco della Pace’ has been celebrated on October 27th and 28th 2025, with a rich program of events. It has been a weekend of great partecipation by the citizens and a symbol of the launch of a new strategic green space for the city and its inhabitants.
On saturday 27th and sunday 28th of October has taken place the ribbon cutting of ‘Parco della Pace‘ in Vicenza with a weekend of events and activities dedicated to the citizens.
The project was a success: over 20.000 visitors during the opening days!
Over 100 activities were proposed: workshop, debates, guided tours, sports, cultural and musical events.
An important symbolic moment was the mayor of Betlehem, Maher Cannavati, presence and speech, who was in Vicenza to renovate the Brotherhood Oath between the two cities.
for us as PAN Associati It has been exciting seeing the park officialy open after years of work: A green infrastructure thought to join environment and society, a place where nature and people meet, surrounded by biodiversity and opportunities of cultural and sport events.
We thank the city of Vicenza and the mayor for the arrangement of the event, with hope that the park will become a symbol of peace for the city and its surroudings.
